Low Tide, High Times

We just experienced the phenomenon known as King Tides here in Santa Cruz. During this window of time, the low tide goes to a negative and exposes part of the coastline usually submerged in salty water.

This is a boon for beach combers and photographers. I was able to walk from Rio Del Mar to Capitola Village. The low tide and the setting sun combined for some great views.
