The Challenge

Henry Cowell has a famous grove of old growth redwoods. It’s a loop about .8 miles long containing a number of trees half a dozen times older than our country.

I decided to study the light. In order to do so, I made ma challenge: stay for one full day in the grove from sunup to sundown.

I got there about 6:20. Here are some of the photos from the first hour.
