Friendly February
President’s Day Weekend was a beautiful one in Santa Cruz. This is in many ways a happy go lucky town, and things were returning to that family friendly vibe with some warmer weather blessing the coastline. The only thing negative was the tide, and friends and families flocked to the tide pools to check out what is usually submerged.
After splashing around in the tide pools, the skies were a tapestry of cottony white clouds waiting like a blank canvas for the action to begin. Sure as anything, the sunset provided another stellar display of the sublime. I positioned myself at Rockview in front of a saltwater puddle, and watched the heavens do their best. This was one of those moments too good to not share, so I decided to make it available as a print.

Not only were the skies reflected in the water, but a wave was striking the cliffs and two figures faced off in silhouette. This image is available in a variety of sizes and print options, but the Fine Art Print is $120 as a starting point. Email jakejthomasphoto@gmail.com to order your print!
